Oasis India - Meghalaya Project

We have recently launched our inaugural project in Meghalaya – the Community Empowerment Project. Our new project is located in the village of Timbokgre, in the state of Meghalaya.

Timbokgre Village, home to 52 households*, is primarily inhabited by the Garo tribal community. Our project aims to foster holistic development within this community, with a strong focus on education, healthcare, and overall wellbeing.

As part of our initiative, we are proud to introduce the implementation of an ASP Centre within Timbokgre Village. Additionally, we extend our reach to another neighboring village, Chibra Village, to broaden our impact.

*Note:  While our latest information indicates 52 households in Timbokgre Village, further village surveys are pending, and a growing population is expected.
