Chief Advisor, Oasis India
Mangneo Lhungdim joined as Executive Director of Oasis India in October 2016. He has been progressively engaged in the development sector since 1998. Prior to joining Oasis India, at Indo-Global Social Service Society (IGSSS) Mangneo held the Deputy Director position leading the senior management team in implementing national flagship development and humanitarian programmes. He is also a trained peace advocate (MPI-Mindanao) and has supported the initial phase of the Joint Peace Mission Team (JPMT) in North-east India during and in the aftermath of conflicts.
Sulekha heads our projects in the West. She also manages several support functions. An alumnus of University of Mumbai, Sulekha comes with grassroots experience in healthcare, counseling, learning and Livelihoods and Prevention of Human Trafficking in an NGO set up. She has over a decade of experience in health education as Senior Tutor, Bombay Nurses Training Institute of Bombay Hospital and Dr. B. Nanavati Hospital.
Meena has over 16 years of experience in the NGO sector as a finance professional. Prior to joining Oasis, Meena has held different roles in various capacities in World Vision and Bangalore Baptist Hospital. She obtained a B.Com degree from Bangalore University, and a MBA (Financial Accounting) from the Indian Institute of Business Management & Studies, Mumbai.
She is currently acting Head of Finance & Administration.
Vishwas Udgirkar heads the Fund Raising and Communications team at Oasis India. He has been with Oasis since September 2014. Vishwas has also been working in developing and executing organizational strategy for Fund Raising. Prior to joining Oasis India, he was involved in sensitising young people on various social issues, resource mobilization and event management . Vishwas chose to be in the social sector as he really wished to pursue a career that is more meaningful and fulfilling, not only professionally but personally as well.
Divya re-joined Oasis India in 2015 after working as a project leader for two years in Oasis India’s rural project during 2012-2014. She’s has a MBA – Project Management degree from University of Wales. She has briefly volunteered for Fairtrade foundation in UK and is very much passionate about ethical trade and ethical run businesses. Today, she oversees our day-to-day operations of social enterprises. Outside the office, you can find Divya having fun with her husband and their four year old son all over the town.
Kim joined Oasis India in 2017, as Manager for Program Quality & Grants division. Kim is an MBA in Health administration by training and a development professional by experience. Prior to Oasis India, she have worked with World Vision India, Swasti Health resource Centre across diverse verticals like maternal & child health, adolescent health & development, education and recently on anti-trafficking. Her primary area of interests includes intersection of sexual reproductive rights of women and children, education and gender. Kim is a storyteller and also an active change maker of the 5th Cohort of Change.org’s women led Community Program.
Tanya Verony heads the Chennai team at Oasis India. She has been with Oasis since October 2018. Tanya has been leading ANEW, an organization working for women empowerment prior to Oasis for more than 8 years. Moved by passion into social work, she holds Masters in Physics from University of Madras and Business Administration from Anna University. She enjoys her recent role working on improving quality of lives, developing and empowering Chennai communities, engaging local people in creating change which gives her a sense of positive emotional feelings and life satisfaction that being the point of convergence to become a change maker.
Dr. Ezhil Christadoss serves on our Committee of Management as the President. He worked at Voorhees College in Vellore for many years in the Chemistry Department as Burser and recently retired as the Principal. Dr. Ezhil has also been a faculty at the Haggai Institute National & International, and also served as Manager of Adaikalam HIV/AIDS project.
Bennet Benjamin is presently the Director of Centre for Rural Health and Social Education, Vellore District, Tamilnadu. He has received several awards of merit and recognition for outstanding contribution to social development. Recently received commendation certificate from the Hon’ble Minister of Skill Development, Government of India, as Best Institute - Open and Distance Learning in Vocational and Skill Development adjudged by ASSOCHAM, New Delhi, INDIA.
Elizabeth Paul is Sr. Vice President HR at Clover Infotech Pvt. Ltd. An alumnus of Symbiosis institute of Management Studies, Elizabeth has equal hands on governance experience of the voluntary sector.
Ms. Divya Kottadiel is a former employee of Oasis India who now serves on the Committee of Management. She is currently based in Bangalore and leads the India work of Power for All, a renewable energy non-profit focused on rural energy access. Divya is a communications professional with successful stints in brand building, grant management, marketing and communications, and public relations for domestic and international organisations.
Mr. Sundeep is an entrepreneur and talent transformation specialist with 28 years’ experience in: services and corporate fields. Sundeep previously was AVP(India Lead (L&D) at Xchanging India (Acquired by CSC). He is a certified trainer & practitioner and a Master Trainer in areas of Team Building, Leadership, and Communication etc.
Dr. Jeyakar is a top ranker in Electrical engineering (REC-T) and a Ph.D. in Management from IIT-B. As an Academic was the Director of the B-School XIME and as a Corporate Trainer has conducted over 250 workshops to promote 'Management of Creativity and Innovation' and over 100 workshops on more specific topics such as 'Management of Risk and Uncertainty' and 'Decision Analysis'. He is the author of the popular book 'Sculpting Angels: Parenting Lessons to Foster Creativity'. Dr. Jeyakar also is a life member of Mensa-India.
Mr. Vijay Alexander is a member of the Committee of Management of Oasis India. He has worked with Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd (as Vice-President, Banking Consulting); ANZ Grindlays Bank plc (as Head, Financial Markets Sales–S.India); and State Bank of India, Mumbai (as Probationary Officer). He has earned B.A.(Hons), 1979 & M.A. Econ History, 1981, St Stephen’s College, Delhi University. M Phil, 1985, Centre for Historical Studies, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. FRM, Global Association of Risk Professionals, 2001. He has vast experience in the banking and IT sectors. Vijay recently stepped down as a Vice President for Oracle Finance Service Software Ltd., Bangalore where he managed the FLEXCUBE Consulting delivery team for wealth management products and strategic business process consulting around core banking solutions. An alumnus of St Stephen’s College and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Vijay is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Associates of Risk Professionals, NYC.
Dr. Pradeep is a qualified Consultant Paediatirc Surgeon and Deputy Medical Superintendent at Madhipura Christian Hospital in Bihar. He is committed to the cause of ethical and wholistic healthcare and to the elimination of inequalities in healthcare provision because of geographical, socio-cultural, economic and gender biases.
David is an experienced development professional with demonstrated capacities in Strategic Planning, Program Evaluation, Strategic Partnerships for NGOs. Strong team management skills with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Osmania University. Till recently he was with B-ABLE (Basix Academy For Building Lifelong Employability) as Business Head and also as Head of South States. Also as Head-National Employability Centre for a short stint. David has a very extensive experience in International and national field across eastern India (Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha), North India states and south India and has held senior responsibilities in Catholic Relief Services, National Employability Centre and Centre for Vocational Education & Workforce Development. He also served as Executive Director, ECLOF India. .
