Sports helps develop confidence!
Thangminhao, 11, lives with his parents in Sonpi,Churchandpur, Manipur. He underwent surgery as he suffered from vocal issues, which has caused him to have an inferiority complex. Since the surgery, he has beenreluctant to be a part of any social activities at school and has kept to himself at home as well. His parents tried different ways to encourage him to try extra curricular activities, but with no luck.
Since attending Oasis India’s after-school programme in Songpi, Thangminhao has shown keen interest in drawing and dancing. With motivation, he has taken part in competitions and developed the confidence to speak with others. Thangminhao’s mother said, “I see such a great transformation in him. The after-school programme is truly wonderful and is a blessing for us.”
