School Caretaker cum Security
School caretaker cum security – with early starts and some evening duties, for retired security/army with a flexible approach and who enjoy the challenge of a varied routine. As a caretaker role is to make sure that teachers and pupils can work in clean and safe surroundings, the duties can vary considerably in schools and boarding. the work may involve supervising cleaners and other workers.
Work Environment: Caretakers cum security work indoors – in classrooms, cloakrooms, corridors, halls and offices – and outdoors, in the school grounds. They are on their feet most of the day, and the work involves lifting and carrying. They work on their own or part of a team, but meet a variety of people during the working day, including the school’s staff, pupils, parents and outside contractors.
Daily Activities: Caretakers cum security is responsible for the safety, security and cleanliness of school premises. Other duties vary, but may include:
- cleaning or supervising cleaners;

- Provide leadership to the projects teams in the NE region and help them work efficiently and effectively.
- Develop, in consultation with other stakeholders, program strategy for the region to ensure the vision of Oasis academy is being accomplished.
- Provide input to leadership in the area of strategy, vision, cohesion, quality M & E of programs and projects.
- Ensure stringent financial monitoring of the projects to function within compliance.
- Ensure communication and work with the projects teams in the region to see implementation of the program strategy in the region.
