 Job Opening for Community Computer Trainer in Oasis India- Kalwa Project-Mumbai.


 Title                       : Community Computer Trainer

 Department       : Project

 Reporting to       : Lead: Community Worker -Kalwa project

 Responsible for  : None

 Hours                    : 40 hours per week

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Identification and recruitment of community students for the Computer course.
  • Responsible to teach Computer applications – MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Graphic design, and Internet), Basic English Speaking, Personality Development.
  • Responsible for documentation – Lesson Plan, Admission, Attendance, Assessments, Progress Reports, Developmental Assets, CMS, feedback, designing the curriculum, work report, case stories, etc.
  • Management and maintenenace of the training unit and computer software & hardware.
  • Responsible to develop contacts with students and their parents through outreach to ensure no dropouts and successful completion of course.
  • Responsible to maintain all admin and accounts records of the training center.
  • Organize various events, sessions and activities related to student’s overall development.
  • To carry out other tasks relating to the job description as may be reasonably required by the LEAD-Community Worker.

 Qualification & Experience:

  • Any Graduate with a Certificate/Diploma in Computers.
  • Prior experience in teaching preferred.
  • Skilled in negotiation, communication, and relationship building.
  • Additional skills in other computer programs/software.
  • Good organizational, documentation, and finance skills.
  • Proficient in oral & written English, Hindi, and Marathi.
  • 2 years relevant experience.
