We expend a lot of effort towards rescuing women in commercial sexual exploitation and minor children involved in labour either due to exploitation or due to familial circumstances. But this effort is not in vain when we see their grateful faces and transformed lives.
When you see the smiles and the radiant faces of individuals like Prabhati and Alok, you realize that all the exertion is worth it. It is sheer joy to see them reintegrated in society, earning an honest living.
You can get involved in this effort too. All you need to give is your time, to lend a helping hand. It will not only exhilarate you but also enable you to make a difference in their lives. If you want to get involved with our work, contact us at transformation@oasisindia.org and we could work out a mutually viable schedule. We have projects in Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.
And you can give. None of our work can happen without financial support. For example, it costs around Rs. 2,000 to give an after care pack to a rescued victim.
